Shake off your troubles and worries. Baby let's dance!
Lyrics excerpt: "Have the craic and carry on..." In Ireland, to have the craic, pronounced 'crack', means to have fun and conversation. This recording features well known Gaelic studio musicians and Angelic singers from Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Great Britain and the United States. Written, arranged, engineered & sung by David Holloway of Louisville, KY, who is about 4% Irish DNA, who would... like... no, love... to be more Irish!
A little girl asserts that there really is a Santa Claus... to her unbelieving brother... and proves it! The talented "Holiday Kids" are made up of Julie and David's 'great' grandchildren and Christie Pabin's music students. Arranger-writer-keyboards David Holloway and J.D. Miller on bass, drums, and audio engineer. The “The Holiday Kids” are professional singer, pianist and music teacher Christie Pabin and her students from Saints Peter and Paul Regional Catholic School in Lexington, KY. Trig McCoy, E.J. Ellen James Hilton, and Annalee Kuyper (Chorus 3 & 4) and David & Julie Holloway's great grandchildren, (Chorus 1 & 2), Addison, Berklee, and Emery Fowler, and Hadlee, Levi, and Oakley Stevens from Muncie, Indiana who recently moved from the Brigham City, Utah area!
Here is an anthem to our United States of America, guardian of freedom and democracy. Together We Stand, divided we fall.
This song is a fun tribute to all the fine neighbors we have now, but especially for Anthony (Tony) Ross, who has helped us so many times with repairs and lots of know-how. And whenever we get together, we always have fun... and laugh. There is just no-one else like him that I have ever met. To Tony, the best 'nayburr' in the world!
This song was written for my wife Julie Ann (Hunt) Holloway, originally from
Cambridge City, Indiana. Inspired by her 'peeking around a pine tree' during our first winter together with a 4-foot-deep snow. It was truly a Winter Wonderland that year (my other favorite Christmas song). I Never Had A Christmas Til You, honey!
Country-train Polka featuring the great Brent Mason, 14-time winner of the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Guitarist of the Year Award, and a 2-time winner of the CMA Award Musician of the Year (being nominated every year since 1991).
